FILM POEMS
This body of work grows out of Rebecca’s daily practice of filming everyday life.
From poetic documentaries to collage experiments and multi-screen installations, the works unfold as intimate and enquiring explorations of the people and places that shape her days. Through looking with deep attention into the textures of her lived experiences, she explores shifting inner and outer perceptions of time and the possibilities of meaningful connections.
Her works often return to the waterbody of the sea and the layered woodlands surrounding her home in Hastings, East Sussex.
