Turning the Stones
Liz Pearson of Chalkhorse Music and Rebecca E Marshall's live collaboration with a gathering of folk songs and moving images, a turning of the stones to find vibrant, intimate moments of everyday stories that thread through time. Live event at Dear Future festival 2023. Thanks to performance artist Emilia Telese for her workshop 'Life Begins at Land's End' with her beautiful group of pregnant women featured in this clip, filmed by Rebecca E Marshall. We turn the stones to re-see ourselves, to envision possible futures and reunite us with ancient customs and rites.
